1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Student", or "Client") and UniverseByte ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"), a technology training and services company operating in India.

By visiting our website at www.universebyte.in, submitting an enquiry, or enrolling in any of our programs, you confirm that:

• You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms
• You are at least 16 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

2 Our Services

UniverseByte provides the following services:

• IT Training Programs: Instructor-led courses in Full Stack Web Development, Python, Java, Data Science & AI, Cloud Computing, and DevOps Engineering
• Internship Programs: Practical, project-based internship experiences with real-world exposure
• Placement Assistance: Resume preparation, interview coaching, and job referral support for eligible students
• Web Development Services: Custom website and application development for businesses
• Certifications: Course completion certificates upon successful fulfilment of program requirements

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice.

3 Eligibility

Our training programs are open to:

• Students currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs
• Recent graduates seeking to build technical skills
• Working professionals looking to upskill or switch careers

Specific prerequisites (if any) are listed on each individual course page. UniverseByte reserves the right to deny enrollment to any applicant at its sole discretion.

4 Enrollment & Payment

4.1 Enrollment Process

Enrollment in a course or program is confirmed only upon:

1. Submission of the enrollment form with accurate personal information
2. Receipt and confirmation of the applicable course fee
3. Issuance of an enrollment confirmation email from UniverseByte

4.2 Fees

Course fees are as displayed on our website or communicated by our counsellors. Fees may be updated periodically. The fee applicable at the time of your enrollment confirmation shall apply to your enrollment.

4.3 Payment

Payments are accepted via bank transfer, UPI, or other methods specified at the time of enrollment. Fees must be paid in full (or as per the agreed installment schedule) before accessing course materials.

5 User Conduct

All users are expected to maintain professional and respectful conduct. You agree not to:

• Share, distribute, or resell course materials, videos, or resources without written permission
• Harass, abuse, or threaten instructors, staff, or fellow students
• Submit false or misleading information during enrollment or interaction with our team
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, databases, or restricted content
• Use our platform or services for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Engage in academic dishonesty, including plagiarism of course assignments or projects
• Record or screen-capture live sessions without explicit prior written consent

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate termination of enrollment without refund.

6 Intellectual Property

All content on the UniverseByte website and within our courses — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, videos, course materials, code samples, and curricula — is the exclusive intellectual property of UniverseByte or its licensed content providers.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use course materials solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any content
• Use our brand, logo, or name without prior written approval
• Create derivative works based on our course content
• Share login credentials with others

Student-generated projects and assignments remain the intellectual property of the student, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7 Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of content

While we strive to keep information current and accurate, we do not guarantee that course content will always reflect the latest industry practices. Technology evolves rapidly, and we continuously update our curricula.

8 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UniverseByte and its directors, instructors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use our services
• Outcomes of career decisions made based on information provided by us

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9 Placement Assistance

UniverseByte provides placement assistance, not a placement guarantee. Our placement support includes:

• Resume building and review sessions
• Mock interviews and soft skills training
• Connecting eligible students with our hiring partner network
• Job alerts and referrals relevant to completed courses

Eligibility for placement assistance requires successful course completion, attendance above 80%, and completion of all assigned projects.

10 Termination

UniverseByte reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services, without prior notice or liability, if:

• You breach any provision of these Terms
• Your conduct is disruptive, abusive, or harmful to others
• Payment obligations are not met as agreed
• We are required to do so by law or regulatory authority

Upon termination, your right to access course materials ceases immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, liability, and governing law survive termination.

11 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be first attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

12 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we will provide notice via email or a website announcement.

Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
